Add clips from X or YouTube — track what's been used and what's fresh.

Assign clips to segments and build your 40–50 min stream package.
📅 Saved Stream Plans
♻️ Reusable Content — Check Before Sourcing New
Segment A (Confrontation Reel) isn't recency-gated — its whole point is showing the futility of leftist arguments and policies, which doesn't expire. Search your full library (including already-used clips, since they still work as deep-dive material) before pulling fresh content.
Stream Timeline
Plan a Stream
Drag to reorder. Check items off live. Time totals compare against your segment budget.

📖 Stories
📖 Add stories to plan your stream. Each story holds clips and chat engagement beats — drag to reorder.
🧩 Subtopics in This Plan
Clips grouped by Topic/Story tag — set via ✎ Edit, or auto-suggested when you Fetch Info on a URL. Use this to check story coverage and avoid overloading one topic.
Checked items move to your Used Archive when you finish the stream. Anything left unchecked is "not used" — carry it to another date's plan so it isn't lost.
Teleprompter
Glare-safe quick-glance view of your running order. Use ‹ › or the on-screen buttons to step through.
Log a Completed Stream
Record what you ran, the numbers, and which segments fired. This builds the story-type intelligence over time.
📂 Import from YouTube Studio CSV
Export the "Table data" CSV from YouTube Studio Analytics, then pick the video matching this stream to auto-fill date, views, watch time, CTR, and (if detected) the named person.

Saturation & Audience Signals
These power the Saturation Tracker and Named Individual leaderboard in Analytics.
Use the same ID every time you reuse the same title+thumbnail

Segments Used
Log each segment and whether it caused a chat spike (noticeable jump in messages/engagement). Use "Import from plan" to auto-fill from tonight's queued clips — this also attaches story timing data from the teleprompter session if you ran it during the stream.

Title/Thumbnail Saturation Tracker
Streams sharing the same Combo ID, in order used. A "Declining" flag means the latest CTR dropped more than 15% below the average of prior uses — time to refresh the title/thumbnail.

📺 Format Split — Crossroads Live vs Crossroads IRL
Separates livestream and VOD performance so they don't dilute each other in headline averages. Builds as you log streams with the correct Format selected.

🕗 Stream Time-Slot Performance
Tracks avg views and CTR by when the stream starts (Eastern time). Historical Studio data shows 8pm Eastern averages 331 views vs 105 at noon, with nearly double the CTR. This panel confirms whether that pattern holds as you log more streams with the Start Time field filled in.
🕗Add a Start Time (Eastern) when logging streams to build slot data
📐 Queue Completion & Optimal Story Count
Tracks how many queued stories actually get covered each stream, per segment. Builds the recommendation for how many clips to queue in an average show based on your actual completion rates over time.
📐Log streams to build completion rate data — the recommendation builds after 3+ streams
⏱ Story Engagement Time by Category
Average time the stream spent on each story category, sourced from the teleprompter's per-story stopwatch. Longer time = audience kept watching. Builds after streams are logged with timing data attached.

🎛️ Stream Formats
A format defines the segment slots for a stream — name, color, and time budget. Switch the active format to change what's offered for new clips and new plans. Each saved plan remembers which format it was built with, so switching formats won't break old plans.
🎙️ Tracked Named Individuals
Used to auto-suggest "Named Person" when you Fetch Info on a clip or import a CSV. Matching is case-insensitive.
🧩 Tracked Topics / Stories
Used to auto-suggest a "Topic / Story" tag for grouping clips into subtopics. Matching is case-insensitive; if multiple match, they're joined with " + ".
★ Audience Favorability Keyword Bank
Drives the ★ score shown on story cards. Each keyword carries a 0–100 weight based on how strongly it's correlated with past performance — title/topic/named-person text on a clip is matched against this list and averaged. Entries marked title-only are early, low-confidence guesses from title data alone; verify them against transcript or comment data when that's available, or just adjust the weight yourself as you get a feel for what's actually working.
📢 Ad Read / CTA Library
Save reusable ad reads and calls-to-action here, then drag them onto the queue on Plan a Stream, or click the ➕ on any queued story to insert one right after it.
🔗 Chrome Extension — CrossCast Clip Opener
The Chrome extension opens clip source links directly into a tab group in another window. When connected, a gold 🔗 Tab Group badge appears in the header above.
Running CrossCast on another device? Open the extension popup (click the CC icon in your Chrome toolbar) and update the Dashboard URL field to match — e.g. http://192.168.1.42:3000 if CrossCast is running on another machine on your network.

🖥️ Teleprompter Display
Controls text size in the Teleprompter view — keep this large enough to read at a glance while live.
🛠️ Database Update Tool
Backfills existing clips with conventions added by later updates — copying title into empty Notes, and skimming Notes/Title text for Tracked Names or Topics that aren't reflected in those fields yet. This never writes anything automatically: scan first, review every suggested change, then apply only what you approve. Safe to run anytime — clips with nothing to change just won't appear.
